Ekobo children's cookware is made from eco-friendly recycled crushed bamboo, which is a more gentle alternative to plastic. They are made of sawdust and bamboo residues produced in the manufacture of chopsticks and 100% safe resin melamene.
They do not contain BPA, PVC, phthalates, lead, cadmium or mercury. Meet all food contact standards - FDA, LFGB and REACH.

Recommended use:
It can be washed in a dishwasher, but for a longer service life we recommend hand washing. Do not use in the microwave oven.

Bamboo is a phenomenon nowadays and is increasingly used by environmental materials in the manufacture of organic products such as crockery, household goods, toys, textiles or clothing. Bamboo as a natural material is itself and products from it fully degradable in nature and over time it turns into soil. 
Bamboo has several important features as to why it has become so popular. One of the important features is their rapid growth, sometimes up to 100 cm per day. It grows very densely even on a small area and its cultivation does not deforestation at the expense of other trees or plants. It absorbs CO2 and releases oxygen, thus filtering this greenhouse gas.
Ekobo is a pioneer in the development and production of crushed bamboo products. They chose bamboo with sustainability certification. Since 2012, Ekobo has consistently supported and used small local processors and producers in China, i.e. right at the bamboo growing site. By combining it with waste sawdust from the production of chopsticks and food-safe resin, they combined to create material for a certified collection of dishes.
